We accept in-network insurance plans, out-of-network benefits when available, and self-pay. Once we have your insurance information, we can verify benefits and give an estimate of expected out-of-pocket costs before admission.

Coverage varies based on your specific plan, deductible, and authorization requirements. If insurance is not an option, we also offer self-pay rates.

In-network providers: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, Cigna, EMI Health, Imagine Health, Molina, MultiPlan, PEHP, Tricare, TriWest and Utah Medicaid plans (Health Choice, Molina and TAM).

You will need to provide information such as substance use history, medical history, current medications, and insurance information as part of the admissions process. If a loved one is calling on the client’s behalf, it can also be very helpful if they are able to gather any available information ahead of time so we can better assess the situation, determine coverage options, and help guide the next steps.

Families should ask whether detox is medically supervised, what support is available around the clock, how admissions works, how privacy is protected, what comfort measures are available, and how aftercare or transfer planning is handled.

An admissions conversation with White Dove Detox is meant to help clarify a person’s needs, timing, safety considerations, insurance or payment questions, and what to expect before arriving. The goal is to provide clear, supportive information, not pressure. During the admissions process, information may be gathered regarding medical history, substance use history, current medications, and other relevant details to help determine appropriate care and ensure a safe admission process.

Admission starts with a phone interview with our admissions team. Once you are approved, we arrange your arrival and check-in. Check-in dates depend on your readiness, your location and our availability, so call or text 385-595-6001 to ask about the next opening.

Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, comfortable clothing and pajamas, toiletries and any feminine hygiene products. Many people also bring something comforting from home, like a favorite blanket or pillow. Please leave laptops, valuables, toiletries that contain alcohol and sexually explicit materials at home.

Yes. Every client has a private room, so you can rest and recover in peace and quiet. Each room has a large-screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime and soft, comfortable bedding.

Yes. A nurse and a technician are on duty 24 hours a day, and a medical professional checks your progress every day. Our medical team is led by our medical director, Dr. Terry Sellers, a board-certified addictionologist, with David G. Jones, PA-C.

White Dove provides medically supervised detox from alcohol and drugs, including opioids such as fentanyl, heroin and prescription pain medications, and benzodiazepines. Call us to talk through your situation. If White Dove is not the right fit, we will do our best to connect you with a program that is.

Detox is the first step. Our team helps you plan your next step, such as residential treatment, outpatient care, sober living or ongoing therapy, and helps you transition to it smoothly.

The kitchen is fully stocked with snacks, fresh food and comfort foods. Breakfast and lunch are served daily, and a homemade dinner is cooked each evening. We can accommodate special dietary needs.

Yes. The Joint Commission lists White Dove Detox as accredited for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services, effective December 18, 2024. The accreditation covers adult detox and adult residential care.

A typical detox stay is 5 to 7 days. Every stay is different: it depends on the substance, your health and how withdrawal goes, and the care team checks your progress every day.

If you are in withdrawal, or may start withdrawing soon, please do not drive yourself. A family member, a trusted friend or another approved option is usually best. If transportation is a concern, mention it on your admissions call and the team will help you plan your arrival.
